Bunnies By The Bay was founded out of love in 1986 by Krystal Kirkpatrick and Suzanne Knutson after their family tragically lost some of their men at sea in 1983. Their gram, a seamstress would tell them stories about bunnies in a garden to help mend and soothe their broken hearts. This inspired their loved ones to also start creating and sewing their very own cloth characters!
